What To Bring?
*In Iguazu, we recommend bringing a swimsuit or lightweight, quick-drying clothing. Some people bring raincoats; long sleeves are a good idea for protection against sunburn and mosquitoes. *Comfortable clothing appropriate for your itinerary. *Camera. *Money for personal expenses. *IMPORTANT 2026: Due to the El Niño weather phenomenon, which is expected to bring abundant rainfall to the region, the National Park authorities have decided to implement a preventative closure of the Devil's Throat circuit starting Monday, August 3. We want to assure you that Iguazu National Park remains open and operating normally. This decision is a very positive protective measure. It consists of the temporary dismantling of the walkways to safeguard the structure before the river level rises, thus ensuring that the circuit will reopen as soon as conditions permit. It is estimated that it will remain closed for approximately 90 to 120 days.

The tour package offered includes visits to some of Argentina`s most iconic regions, such as the vibrant city of Buenos Aires, the impressive Valdés Peninsula, the spectacular Iguazu Falls, and the majestic Perito Moreno Glacier. Accommodations, local transportation between destinations, specialized guides who will accompany you on each excursion, and some meals during the tour are also included. Entrance tickets to national parks and major attractions are usually also included. This itinerary guarantees a complete and enriching experience of tourism in Argentina.
The tour package lasts approximately 13 days, allowing you to explore each destination thoroughly. The itinerary begins in Buenos Aires, with visits to the main tourist spots, followed by a transfer to the Valdés Peninsula to enjoy the marine wildlife. Afterward, you`ll travel to Iguazu Falls to explore the beauty of the waterfalls. Finally, the trip culminates in front of the Perito Moreno Glacier in Patagonia. Each day is carefully planned to ensure you get the most out of each destination. Consult the agency for a detailed schedule.
The best time to enjoy your tour package will depend on your personal preferences and the natural phenomena you want to see. Spring and fall in Buenos Aires are pleasant due to their mild climate. The Valdés Peninsula offers unique marine wildlife sightings between September and December, when whales, penguins, and elephant seals are abundant. The splendor of Iguazu Falls is magnified during the summer months, while the Perito Moreno Glacier is impressive year-round, although summer offers more pleasant temperatures for exploring. Plan your trip with these factors in mind!
For citizens of most countries, entering Argentina for tourism purposes generally only requires a valid passport. No visa is required for short stays. It is advisable to check the specific entry requirements for your country of origin before traveling. Regarding vaccinations, while none are mandatory, it is recommended to be vaccinated against yellow fever when visiting Iguazu Falls, especially if you plan to continue your trip to other regions of South America. Consult with health authorities and the Argentine consulate for the most up-to-date information.
For this tour, it`s essential to pack clothing suitable for a variety of climates, as you`ll experience both the urban temperatures of Buenos Aires and the cool Patagonian breezes of the Perito Moreno Glacier. Pack lightweight, comfortable clothing for the warm days in Iguazú and warm clothing for the cold nights in Patagonia. Also, bring comfortable shoes for hiking and a raincoat or poncho to help prevent splashing at the falls. Don`t forget to bring sunscreen, sunglasses, and a small backpack for your daily excursions. It`s always a good idea to check the weather forecast before your departure.
