Full-Day Excursion to Peninsula Valdes

We depart at 7:15/7:30 AM from Puerto Madryn hotels for a land tour of approximately 380 km and 11 hours, accompanied by specialized naturalist guides.

During the day we will discover:

  • Sea lions: with a colony of around 1,500 individuals, where it is common to see newborn pups.

  • Seabirds and cormorants: impressive nesting scenes on the cliffs.

  • Experience in Reefs: Those who wish can put on neoprene suits and enter the clear waters (1–2 meters deep) to observe starfish, anemones, and marine fauna.

  • Caleta Valdés: A unique geographical feature that is home to elephant seals and sea lions.

  • Punta Norte: A prominent point on the Peninsula, where there is a high probability of sighting Orcas.

  • Interpretation Center and Panoramic Lookout: with views of both gulfs, Nuevo and San José, and observation of Bird Island.
