At noon, show up with your voucher directly at the Facal Bar, where you will be welcomed and placed at one of the tables and then enjoy their lunch.
The Facal Bar is located in a emblematic corner of Montevideo, with monuments to our history and entertaining shows, and even offers its clients a true gastronomic and cultural experience .
At the entrance of the venue you will enjoy a street Tango show (from Monday to Saturday), and the fountain of the padlocks and statue by Carlos Gardel, famous throughout the city.
Anytime you want you can continue with the second part of the experience. El Salvo Palace is located 8 blocks from the bar, which will allow you to walk along Av. July 18, the main street in Montevideo where some of the most historic buildings in the city are located. Walk west along the avenue to Plaza Independencia. Once at the Palace, you can take one of the guided tours, which are offered every half hour (until 4:00 p.m.).
The building was inaugurated in 1928 after six years of construction and was based on its previous creation in Buenos Aires, the Barolo Palace. His predominant style is Italian Gothic with classical and neo-romanticism influences.
In the Guided Tours of the Salvo Palace, the surroundings of the building, the exterior passages and the Pasaje Salvo are visited, observing and informing about its very special bronze decorations.
