Upon arrival, you will take a bus to the entrance of Machu Picchu Citadel, and have free time to walk around this amazing archeological site.

Machu Picchu was declared as a UNESCO Historical and Cultural Heritage in 1981. This impressive Inca citadel was built under the domains of Inca Pachacutec during the fifteenth century when he started the expansion of the Incan Empire, known as Tahuantinsuyo.

At the agreed time, you will meet our professional guide at the entrance of the Inca site, to start the guided tour to Machu Picchu Historic Sanctuary. Explore the Lost City of the Incas, for 2 hours and a half, learning about this ancient civilization and admiring beautiful landscapes.

The citadel has been built with huge stones which fit together in a perfect way, and it creates a spectacular landscape. Visiting Machu Picchu you will walk through their streets, avenues, as well as places that were used for agriculture and religious rites. Without a doubt, the Inca civilization had a special skill for constructions, and they used to respect the environment all the time.

If you want, you can climb the Huayna Picchu mountain (optional) with the best panoramic views. Also, you have the option to take the bus back to Aguas Calientes town to have lunch (optional). There are many options of traditional lunch at town.

During these months, the hiking trails are in better condition and the panoramic views are breathtaking. Fares can vary, and tickets can sell out quickly, leaving visitors unable to choose their preferred times and services.
