DAY 1.
Upon your arrival in the city of
Chiclayo, our driver will pick you up from the airport or bus station to take
you to the hotel located in the city center.
Later in the afternoon, we will
begin this interesting tour by visiting the Paseo de las Musas, a place for unforgettable family moments and to
enjoy a nice stroll.
This urban park, built between 1994
and 1995, hosts various squares surrounded by beautiful gardens and flowers, as
well as sculptures of 9 muses from Greek mythology made by the sculptor Miguel
Ángel Díaz Dávila.
The tour in Chiclayo continues until we reach the Main Park since it
does not have a Plaza de Armas
because it was not a battle site. Here you will have panoramic views of
shopping centers, the old cinema, as well as the impressive Cathedral.
The Cathedral of Chiclayo, or Santa María Cathedral, began its
construction in 1869 and ended in 1939 due to lack of funds. The design is by
Gustavo Eiffel and is in neoclassical style.
We will continue the tour to the Municipal Palace. This historical
monument from the republican era features temporary photography exhibitions in
its beautiful halls.
We will conclude the excursion by
visiting the Witchcraft Market of
Chiclayo, where you can find everything, including products related to
witchcraft, as shamanism is widely practiced in Peru to heal illnesses,
lovesickness, the evil eye, bindings, etc.
You will have time to stroll
through this curious place, and then we will take you back to the hotel.
Overnight stay.
