We will start from Punta Arenas and check in at the South Bus Terminal in the city (Av. Colon 842). From there, a shuttle will take us to the Arturo Prat Pier, where we will begin to breathe in the anticipation of a unique experience. At the time you choose, whether in the morning at 7:00 a.m. or in the afternoon at 1:30 p.m., our team will be ready to welcome you and begin this exploratory adventure.

 

The long-awaited moment arrives with the departure from the Arturo Prat Pier. On board, our bilingual guide will share fascinating information about the Strait of Magellan and the wonders that await us at the Los Pingüinos Natural Monument. Departure begins at either 8:00 a.m. or 2:30 p.m.

One of the highlights comes when we arrive at the majestic Magdalena Island at approximately 10:30 a.m. or 5:00 p.m. Upon arrival at Magdalena Island, we will be greeted by the majesty of the local fauna. The island is home to one of the largest penguin colonies in the region, where these charming island inhabitants welcome us with their unique behavior.

 

We will walk along the island`s trails for approximately an hour, where we will come face-to-face with friendly Magellanic penguins. We will observe their natural habitats, their playful interactions, and capture enchanting moments while enjoying their coastal environment. We will also be able to observe the life of the northern gulls, black-browed albatrosses, and imperial cormorants up close. The island is a wildlife sanctuary, and every moment reveals the harmony of nature.
