We invite you on this exciting adventure through this unique place in the heart of the Chilean Araucanía, very close to Lake Caburgua. Its beauty lies in its three waterfalls that reach a height ranging between 15 and 20 meters, surrounded by fantastic vegetation. The Ojos del Caburgua are water wells of great natural beauty, an electric blue color.
We will begin our
experience today by leaving our hotel at the agreed time and heading
approximately 25 km from the city of Pucón, where the town of Caburgua is located. In
this unique area, we will find a large number of attractions such as rivers, forests,
and mountains and the Trancura and Liucura rivers, where rafting and sport fishing are popular.
We will find
spectacular views of the three volcanoes: Villarrica, Quetrupillán, and Lanín.
Once at the Ojos del Caburgua, we will be able
to appreciate numerous colorful waterfalls in a group of beautiful turquoise pools surrounded by native forest typical of the Valdivian rainforest.
An underground river emerges from this beautiful place. Its water
comes from an underground drain from Lake Caburgua, and it is possible to explore it via wooden walkways.
After being amazed by such natural beauty, we will immerse ourselves in the native forest to depart
for Lake Caburgua, 2 km from the site. With an altitude of 700 meters above sea level,
and an approximate area of 7,700 hectares,
Always surrounded by the traditional Valdivian rainforest that floods the area. Popular legend tells us that in the center of the lake there is a large crater of an Extinct Volcano, which is why its bottom is never found in this lake.
We will visit Playa Negra and its scenic attractions, with mountains completely covered in the typical Valdivian rainforest.
We will realize that its temperate waters are the result of hot springs within the lake.
After exploring and connecting with the beauty of the Ojos del Caburgua and Lake Caburga, we will return to our starting point, where we will say goodbye with lasting memories and a deep appreciation for the natural beauty of Araucanía in Chile.
Definitely an experience you can`t miss!
