We will start this experience heading about 40 minutes from Coyhaique, or 25 minutes from Balmaceda airport, we will find a private estate that offers us to live a unique experience , rescuing the customs and traditions of the rural people, called “Gaucho".
We will have the opportunity to participate in the various typical activities of the Patagonic Countryside. We will learn the history of the place and the surroundings while we taste a tasty snack with local recipes and products .
We will see the typical Gaucho live and direct, he will show us all his accessories, such as the Beret, the Scarf around the neck, the Wine Skin, etc.
Of course, part of this unique field experience includes interacting with the lambs, learning about corral work, among others.
As a finishing touch, we will learn about the creation of the Great Monument to Patagonia, where we can leave our name stamped (at an additional cost). This great work of art was created to raise awareness of the importance to take care of our planet and to contribute our grain of sand, in reforestation with native trees.
To live this complete country experience, we cannot help but enjoy a well-deserved Asado al Palo, together with the people of the farm and possibly with other visitors.
After a day of culture and enjoyment, we will return to our hotels in Coyhaique.
