We will start this experience by heading about 40 minutes from Coyhaique, or 25 minutes from the Balmaceda airport, we will find a private ranch that offers us a unique experience, rescuing the customs and traditions of the country people, called "Gaucho".
We will have the opportunity to participate in the various typical activities of the Patagonian Countryside. We will learn about the history of the place and the surroundings while enjoying a tasty snack with local recipes and products.
We will see live and in person the typical Gaucho, he will show us all his accessories, such as the Beret, the Neck Scarf, the Wine Boot, etc.
Of course, part of this unique field experience includes interacting with the lambs, learning about the work of corrals, among others.
As the icing on the cake, we will learn about the creation of the Great Monument to Patagonia, where we can leave our name stamped (at an additional cost). This great work of art was born to raise awareness of the importance of taking care of our planet and doing our bit by reforesting with native trees.
To live this complete country experience, we will have to enjoy a well-deserved Asado al Palo, together with the people of the ranch and possibly with other visitors.
After a day of culture and enjoyment, we will return to our hotels in Coyhaique.
