Day 1: Arrival in Manaus
Upon arrival at Manaus airport, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free to relax at your hotel or explore the city.
Day 2: Exploring Manaus
We will leave our selected hotels to travel 18 km from the Ponta Negra highway to the port of Manaus, where our tour will begin. The port is located in the center of the city and we will visit its interior, and then continue with a brief stop in front of the Palace of Río Negro, official headquarters of the State Government.
The next point of interest to visit is the Museo del Indio, of the Salesian Congregation , the best place to understand the traditions and customs of indigenous people. It is a collection of more than four thousand pieces made by different tribes that inhabited the region over the years. Exhibits include household utensils, musical instruments, ornaments and weapons.
Then, we will continue with an external visit to the Palace of Justice in the Amazonas, built at the request of Governor Eduardo Ribeiro, this building, inspired by French and neoclassical styles, which was converted and currently functions as cultural center.
Finally, the tour is completed with a visit to the interior of the Teatro Amazonas, inaugurated in 1896, is one of the main tourist attractions of Manaus. Symbol of the rubber cycle, where all the wealth and greatness still passes through its halls, rooms and artwork.
Shortly after, we return to the selected hotels, where the tour ends.
Day 3: Water Encounter + Swim with Boto
