The tour begins with passenger pick-up from their hotel in Bonito to head towards the Blue Lake Cave, one of the city`s iconic landmarks.
Our contemplative and historical tour begins with a 300-meter walk along a path. The path is formed by footprints, creating a natural formation that leads to the cave entrance. During the walk, the guide will point out the native flora and fauna.
The descent into the cave is 200 meters and is made via a staircase carved into the earth. We will go near the lake, but not inside it, as this is not permitted. This will not prevent us from marveling at the intensely blue waters and the beautiful stalactites that have inhabited the cave for thousands of years. Fossils of saber-toothed tigers and giant sloths were found inside the lagoon. The tour ends with the return of passengers to their hotels in Bonito.
