We will meet the passengers at the meeting point near the Obelisk, where we will form the group and accommodate them in our vehicle. We will leave for Gualeguaychú at 7:45 AM. During the trip, we will make an intermediate stop at a gas station so that passengers can go to the bathroom and, if they wish, buy something at the mini-market. The total trip will last approximately two and a half hours.
Around 10:30 AM, we will arrive at the Las Magnolias winery, located at the South Access of Gualeguaychú. We will be warmly welcomed by the farm staff. The visit will begin at the entrance of the old colonial house, which today houses the restaurant and the winery`s tasting room.
We will take a guided tour that will take us to the vineyards, where we will observe the plants with their spring shoots after pruning. During the tour, we will explain the types of vines and soils, among other aspects. Then, we will visit the winery where the wine is made and aged in an artisanal way. We will share the history of wine in these Argentine lands and its long prohibition.
Later, we will carry out a wine tasting and sampling under the main oak tree of the estate or in our picturesque lounge. We will offer a snack with small empanadas, local cheese and coarsely chopped salami. There will be time to take pictures and explore the place before leaving.
At approximately 12:30 PM, we will head to the Crescencio restaurant, one of the best on the Gualeguaychú waterfront. This restaurant stands out for its extensive history, excellent service, and a varied menu that satisfies all palates. Lunch will include a starter, main course, and dessert (see menu).
After lunch, we will board the eleven-meter-long Gypsy Cruise to enjoy an unforgettable experience. We will take a guided tour along the city`s coast, where the story of the immigrants who arrived in Gualeguaychú through this port will be told. We will pass by Libertad Island, the old cargo crane, the Mendez Casariego Bridge and Unzué Park.
During the ride, local sweet treats and hot coffee will be offered. There will also be snacks and drinks available for purchase on board. The boat has a bathroom and ample interior space for rainy days. The ride will last between sixty and ninety minutes, allowing us to enjoy the sunset on board.
We will disembark at the port stairs, where our vehicle will be waiting for us to return to Buenos Aires. We will make a stop to go to the bathroom and arrive near the Obelisk at approximately 9:30 PM.
