Our Buenos Aires City Tour begins with all our travellers being picked up directly from their hotels. From there, we’ll take you on a journey through this unique city, bursting with passion, history, culture and even a little magic.
We kick the tour off with a trip down one of the main streets, Calle 9 de Julio. Here we will see the Teatro Colon and the Obelisco, a monument which holds important symbolic value for the city. We’ll then move on to make our first stop at the striking Plaza de Mayo, the city’s historical, political and cultural epicentre. The Catedral Metropolitana, Casa Rosada (home of the Argentinian President) and the Cabildo are just some of the significant buildings we will see and photograph.
The tour goes on to explore the southern side of the city, winding through San Telmo’s old town and the stunning Parque Lezama. Further south, we reach our next stop in La Boca, a vibrant barrio which is home to the Boca Juniors football stadium and the heart of the Pasión Argentina: football! We will visit Caminito, a famous tourist destination full of colour, magic and history. We will pass the banks of the Riachuelo towards the other end of the city and make our way to Puerto Madero, one of the newest and most modern neighbourhoods in Buenos Aires. Retiro and Plaza San Martín lead us onto the Avenida del Libertador and into the most exclusive and green part of the city: Palermo.
Our final visit will be to the chic and sophisticated neighbourhood of La Recoleta, with our trip coming to a close in downtown Buenos Aires. Here we will say our final ‘gracias’ and ‘adios’, and hope to see you again!
The tour makes 2 stops: the first in Plaza de Mayo and second in Caminito
