We will begin our adventure today, departing from Puerto Varas at 8:00 AM. If you prefer to go on your own, we will meet at 10:00 AM at the meeting point in Petrohué.Petrohué
The first obligatory stop on this experience is a visit to the unique and unmissable Petrohué Falls, a place where the waters of the river run over the style="font-weight:bold"> volcanic lava rocks
giving rise to an incredible natural spectacle.
After seeing the waterfalls, we will arrive at the Petrohué sector, on the shore of the lake. This place is known for its natural landscape and the emerald color of its waters.
Here we will board the catamaran "Lagos Andinos", which will take us to sail on the "Todos los Santos" Lake, where we can enjoy incredible views of the Osorno, Calbuco, Tronador, and Puntiagudo volcanoes, as well as all the abundant vegetation that surrounds us.
After approximately 2 to 3 hours of sailing, we will disembark to visit Villa Peulla. This small and remote mountain village in the middle of the Andes Mountains is noted for its incredible landscape surrounded by rivers, waterfalls, and volcanoes, and is part of the Valdivian Rainforest.
In this village,
we will walk along a beautiful trail to see the emblematic "Velo de Novia Waterfall" and we will have
time for lunch (not included).
Once in Peulla,
you will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities, which may be
additional. You can choose between
- Hiking and exploring the surroundings of Peulla on foot and discovering the biodiversity of the Valdivian rainforest. And visiting the iconic Bridal Veil Waterfall
- Biking. If you prefer this option, you can rent a bike and explore the scenic trails in the area. You can also enjoy a delicious Chilean "traditional lunch" at a local restaurant.
- Or you can simply give yourself some "Free Time"; you can explore the town, visit the local church, or simply relax in the midst of nature.
Then we will return to the catamaran again to cross Lake Todos Los Santos, enjoying the panoramic views again with the changing colors of the sunset... we will arrive at the Petrohué pier, and from there to your hotel
in Puerto Varas.
Without a doubt, an experience that will bring you closer to the natural beauty of the Los Lagos Region, to Chilean hospitality, and to learn more about the country`s rural life while enjoying incredible postcards.
Don`t forget to bring comfortable clothing and your camera charged and ready to capture the incredible landscapes during this experience in Peulla.
