North Tour of Chiloé:
We will begin our adventure around 8:45 AM traveling for one hour along the famous Pan-American Route to the town of Pargua, where we will embark on a boat that will take us to Chucao, the gateway to the Island of Chiloé.
The town of Chucao is one of the oldest on the island, founded in 1567. It has a Plaza de Armas where we will be able to appreciate the curious and picturesque typical constructions. We will also visit its colorful fort and its wooden church, one of the 150 churches that we can find in Chiloé. We will have time to have lunch in a typical place of the island (lunch not included).
We will continue our way to the city of Ancud, where we will arrive to the viewpoint of the Huaihuen hill, and we will continue visiting the beach of Arena Gruesa, the San Antonio Fort, the interactive and artisan Museum of the city, the Municipal Market, the Center and the Costanera Avenue.
While we tour these places we will hear the stories and myths of one of the largest islands in South America, mythological and magical stories that will be narrated by our guides and will take us to the interesting world of the unknown that surrounds Chiloé.
Big Island Tour:
At 8 Hrs we will be picked up at our selected hotels to go to the ferry that will help us cross the Chucao channel, which will take us to the city of the same name. Here we will make a visit that will allow us to know the oldest city of the island.
Then we will go to the city of Castro, which is the capital of the Big Island of Chiloé. Here we will visit the Plaza de Armas, the impressive churches and we will go to the viewpoint of the Gamboa neighborhood where we can admire the famous palafitos, constructions made in the water. We will have time to have lunch in a typical place of the island (Lunch not included).
Leaving Castro we will visit Dalcahue, known for its Craft Fair, which every Sunday brings together artisans from all over the archipelago to market their most varied products.
In the afternoon, after this incredible visit, we will return to Puerto Montt and Puerto Varas at approximately 6 PM.
