The adventure will begin when we pick you up from your hotel in Puerto Varas to meet up with the team that will be with us today.
After a brief overview of what we`ll be doing, getting to know each other a little to see what you prefer, and the safety measures, we`ll set off on this adventure, as long as we put all our enthusiasm into it.
We`ll set off with the excitement of pedaling along scenic routes and winding paths that will take us along the shores of Lake Llanquihue, where we`ll follow the trail of German colonization to the tip of Frutillar.
The trip will take us
through green fields, pastures, and
small rural villages, giving us the
opportunity to connect with local life and observe the typical agriculture and livestock of the region. The fresh air
and the lake breeze will accompany us as we continue, creating an ideal environment for enjoying cycling.
As we approach Frutillar, we can glimpse the roofs of the traditional German-style houses that line the western shore of the lake. Frutillar
is known for its rich German heritage,
which is reflected in its architecture, its food, and its cultural festivals.
Once in the city of
Frutillar, we can pedal through its streets at our own pace. We can
stroll along the lakeshoreand enjoy
the panoramic views of the water and the surrounding mountains. Or if time permits, we could even take a stroll along the pier and experience the serenity of the lake.
A visit to the German Colonial Museum is a highly recommended option to include along the way. This museum offers a fascinating insight into the history of German settlers in the area and features historical artifacts and cultural exhibits that will transport you back in time.
After exploring and immersing ourselves in this unique atmosphere of Frutillar, we will return by bicycle or vehicle to our hotel in Puerto Varas, taking with us priceless memories and the satisfaction of having explored a special corner of Chile in an active and energetic way.
