We`ll split this
adventure departing from the city closest to the park. Puerto Natales.
The day before the
beginning of the experience you must remove your Kit
Welcome Party at the office of Manuel Bulnes 83. Puerto Natales between
5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.

Day 1: Arrival at Torres del Paine National Park -
Trekking to Base Torres
After enjoying the
breakfast at your hotel, request your box lunch and we will leave on the way to the bus station
take the bus at 07.00 am (I recommend you be at least 10 minutes before
of the exit, make sure). We leave in the direction of the Torres del
Paine. Enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way until you reach the main entrance of "Laguna Amarga". Here it is necessary to register with CONAF
(park rangers), right here you will make a transfer with the “Transporte Las Torres”, who will take you to the "Welcome Center".
You register at the Cerro Paine reserve and after about 5 minutes
walk you arrive at "Central Tower" where
you can check in, either at the refuge or at the campsite, whichever you have
chosen, lighten your luggage, take what is necessary and start your trekking.
Today`s walk
begins with the Ascencio Valley,
enjoying its extensive forests. During the final ascent, you traverse a
immense field of giant rocks until you reach one of the most emblematic viewpoints in the world, the famous
"Torres Base Lookout". to one
height of 900 meters above sea level, marvel at the 3 towers (north, central and south) of
granite and the sparkling turquoise glacial lake below. Take pictures,
enjoy, eat something and start the way back by the same route. Enjoy
of the rich dinner in the refuge and then go to rest.

Day 2: Catamaran – Hike to Grey
After having breakfast at
the Torre Central shelter and ask for your box
lunch, you must take the transfer at 8:30 am Las
Torres that will drop you back into Laguna
Amarga, where you will have to get on the bus of Bus Sur coming from Port
Natales to take you to Pudeto.
At 10:30 am you must board the catamaran Hielos
Patagonicos, which will sail for approximately 35 minutes through Lake Pehoé, arriving directly at the refuge Paine Grande. From here begins the
walk towards Grey.
Start your journey
through a narrow, winding valley that leads to the Laguna
The Ducks. As you continue to progress, you will begin to see parts of the
immense Campos de Hielo Sur, as well as
also the ice floes from Gray Lake.
After passing the windy viewpoint, the path descends through a mountainous forest
until you reach the Gray shelter. From here, if you continue walking for about 10
minutes, you will arrive at the Grey Glacier viewpoint,
where you will find yourself face to face with one of the arms of Campos de Hielo Sur. Dinner will be served in the
shelter between 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.
If you have energy
still, as Optional you can make a
Extra unforgettable visit to the Grey Glacier,
you need to book an extra 3 to 4 hours (round trip) past the refuge in
direction to the famous Suspension Bridges.
It is by far the best viewpoint of the glacier. In addition to looking at the
impressive ice, you can see the depth of the ravines formed by the
rivers and waterfalls that come from the Cordón Olguín.
If you`re lucky, you might see rockfalls
glacier ice into the cold waters of Gray Lake.

kms and the trekking has a medium difficulty.

Day 3: Hike from Gray to Paine Grande
Today starts
enjoying a delicious breakfast in the Grey refuge dining room and don`t forget to order your box lunch. But
were you able to visit the suspension bridges the
previous afternoon, or you were very tired, you can take the morning of this day
to explore the spectacular panoramic views of the Glacier Grey.
Today you will walk the
same trail to go back to Paine Grande.
Rest and enjoy dinner in the refuge`s dining room.

Day 4: Hike to Valle del Francés – Catamaran
– Return to Puerto Natales
Today`s walk
it will be round trip, starting and ending at Paine
Big. Journey into the heart of the park, skirting the azure waters of Skottsberg Lake. After about 2.5
hours of walking, you will arrive at the camp
Italiano (park ranger), where you will begin your journey to the Valle del Francés. Climb up large rocks and
then continue through the forest until you reach the viewpoint
French. Here, you will be rewarded with incredible views of los Cuernos, lagoons
turquoise glaciers and amazing glaciers
pendants falling down the east face of the mountain
Paine Grande (3,050 meters above sea level). If you`re lucky, you can hear the
loud noise of the glacier and the falling water, as well as it is very common
being able to witness an avalanche. Enjoy your box lunch and the well deserved
rest.

At 5:30 p.m. you must
take the catamaran that will take you back to Pudeto,
where you must board the regular bus at 6:00 p.m. to Puerto
Natales. The approximate time of arrival in Natales is 21:15 hrs.
