Our adventure
It begins with the excitement of a trip from your hotel to the town of Curarrehue, located just 35 km away.
from Pucón. Along the way, you will marvel at the spectacular landscape of the
mountain region of Araucanía, as we enter a world where
Mapuche history and culture come to life.
Once in
Curarrehue, we will go to the Village
Intercultural Trawupeyüm, where we will be received by the warm
hospitality of the Mapuche people. Here, we will immerse ourselves in the rich history and
traditions of this ancient town through a visit to the fascinating museum. We will explore a variedexhibition that includes historical photographs, jewelry
silverhandcrafted, instruments
traditional musicals and a wide display of typical clothing, all designed to convey the
deep Mapuche worldview.
After this
immersive cultural experience, we will go to a Mapuche community
nearby, where we will have the privilege of sharing with a local family. Here
It`s where the magic really begins.
We will be welcomed with the tempting aromas of Mapuche cuisine while we prepare for an authentic tasting of their traditional dishes. From
the comforting flavor of the catutos to the crunchy texture of the
Sopaipillas, each bite will transport us through the centuries of history and
tradition.
While sharing with the local family, we will have the
opportunity to participate in their daily customs, from the preparation of
food to traditional music and dance. We will hear stories of their
