The adventure begins at our dive center, located in the heart of Easter Island. We have two dive times available for your convenience: 8:45 AM and 10:45 AM. From there, we`ll head by boat to an exclusive dive site, outside the bay, where you`ll discover a wilder and less-explored marine ecosystem.

With a guided dive of approximately 30 minutes, you`ll immerse yourself in a vibrant world of corals, tropical fish, and volcanic formations unique to the South Pacific. You`ll always be accompanied by a certified instructor, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and exciting experience.

This excursion includes all necessary equipment: wetsuit, fins, mask, air tank, and regulator. You`ll also enjoy a tea and coffee station throughout the activity, Wi-Fi at the dive center, and we`ll take photos and videos with you so you can keep a special memory of your underwater experience.

The Hanga Roa Outer Coast Scuba Diving Adventure is designed for divers of all levels, from beginners to advanced divers. Before starting, you`ll receive a brief theoretical introduction and safety instructions from certified and experienced instructors. For beginners, equipment and initial practice in shallow waters are provided. More experienced divers can explore deeper and more challenging locations. All necessary equipment is included to ensure a safe and enriching experience.
Diving off the outer coast of Hanga Roa, Easter Island, offers the opportunity to observe a rich marine biodiversity. You`ll see colorful corals, tropical fish, and endemic species unique due to the island`s remote location. Frequent sightings include parrotfish, moray eels, and even sea turtles. The clear waters in this region provide exceptional visibility, allowing you to enjoy the underwater wonders at their finest. The experience is ideal for both nature lovers and underwater photographers.
Easter Island enjoys a temperate climate year-round, allowing diving excursions to be undertaken at virtually any time of year. However, the summer months, from December to March, offer the best weather conditions with warmer temperatures and a lower probability of rain. During this period, the sea is typically calmer, improving diving conditions and underwater visibility. It is also a popular season for tourists, so booking in advance is recommended to secure spots on the excursion and accommodations on the island.
The diving adventure off the outer coast of Hanga Roa lasts approximately half a day. The itinerary usually begins with a brief induction and safety briefing, followed by a boat transfer to the selected dive sites.
