The rafting
takes place in the city of Taboquinhas, along the beautiful Rio de Contas.
This river is considered one of the best rivers in Brazil for rafting, with class 3 and 4 rapids.
The day
begins with pick-up at your accommodation, around 9:30am. The vehicle then continues its route along the road from Itacaré to
Taboquinhas for 29 km.
Upon arrival at
the farm in Taboquinhas, the rafting guide will welcome all participants
and take them to the Contas River. At the riverbank, one of the
rafting guides will give a short theoretical lesson, explaining the details
about rafting and providing safety tips.
After
this lesson, it`s time to paddleand enjoy an hour and a half of rafting down
the beautiful Rio de Contas. There are 5 exciting class 3 and 4 rapids, called:
Carrossel, Fumo, Funil, Corredor Pôlones and Salto da Pancada. The route has a total length of 3 km.
Once the rafting is over, the day continues with participants being taken to enjoy another extreme sport: ziplining. The zipline crosses the blue waters of the Contas River and is 170 meters long. The zipline is offered as a courtesy to customers, although it may not be
available on the day of the tour due to the river level.
The return
to Itacaré takes place around 3:00 p.m.
