The most common way to get to Itacaré is to fly to Ilhéus Airport (Aeroporto Jorge Amado), which is about 70 km from Itacaré. From Ilhéus, you can take a taxi, private transfer or bus to your destination. The road trip takes approximately 1.5 hours and offers panoramic views of the coast and the Atlantic forest. It is also possible to rent a car in Ilhéus to enjoy more flexibility and comfort during your stay in Itacaré.
