The excursion begins from the hotel towards the Mirador Valle Carbajal. There you can appreciate the peat bogs with an impressive view of the mountains and glaciers. We will make a technical stopover at a winter center.
Continuing along Route 3, the route reaches the Andes mountain range through of the Garibaldi Pass, which is the southernmost and most terminal portion of the extensive Andes mountain range.
Towards mid-morning, we will reach La Carmen Post. You can enjoy something hot and take a walk along the coast of Lake Fagnano, also known by the Onas as `The Rest of the Horizon`. This name comes from the fact that the imaginary horizon line formed by the mountains is interrupted by the lake, only to continue on the other side.
At noon, We will arrive at the Garibaldi Pass viewpoint to observe the Escondido Lake from above. Its name reflects its location nestled in a deep valley surrounded by mountains.
Afterwards, we will return to the winter center for lunch and then we will embark on the Return to the city of Ushuaia.
