The day begins with the pick-up from the hotels in the city of Ushuaia to depart for the Tierra Mayor Valley.
After only 30 minutes of travel, we will arrive at the Husky Park where an instructor, called Musher, will welcome us and give an introductory talk to the world of sled dogs, telling us about the special care they have and what are the conditions in which they live in this environment.
Then, we will begin with the sled driving instruction to learn the assembly and handling techniques.
We will help put the harnesses on the dogs and once the sled is hitched, the adventure will begin.
The dog sled ride is an intense journey but very fun and full of adrenaline. The entire caravan of sleds will advance into the snowy valley and through a wonderful native landscape.
The first he stage of the walk ends at the logger shelter, a place where we can rest and replenish calories with a refreshment consisting of a hot drink and a snack.
Once we regain our energy, we will continue the journey, crossing the forest, frozen rivers and the copious snow that fills the valley.
After 6 kilometers of walking, we will return to our hotels in Ushuaia.
