When evening falls, at 4 pm, we will pick you up at your centrally located accommodation in Ushuaia, or at a meeting point to be coordinated.
Once we meet, we will be given a technical talk about the tour we are going to take. This may not be the first time that someone from the team has visited Laguna Esmeralda, and even though the trek is the same, during the day it is much less complicated than at night.
We equipped ourselves with walking sticks and flashlights (if done in winter, with crampons too) and headed to Laguna Esmeralda.
This hike has a low technical demand, no previous experience is necessary, but it has a medium physical demand, due to the amount of time that the walk takes (10 kilometers in total).
The night landscapes, the stars, the empty Laguna Esmeralda, allow us to know a version of a well-known trekking but that connects more with our senses and with the tranquility of the environment.
Around 7:30 p.m., between 2 and a half and 3 hours after walking, we will arrive at the Mountain Refuge in Laguna Esmeralda. There we will have a dinner next to the salamander to replenish energy. After the break, we begin the descent and the return.
Approximately at 10:30 p.m. we will be arriving at the transfers, which will take us back to the city of Ushuaia.
