Day 1 | Arrival in Salta
Upon arrival at the Salta airport or bus terminal, a vehicle will be waiting to take you comfortably to your hotel located in the city center.
Once you have checked in, you will have the rest of the day free to start discovering Salta, the Beautiful , explore its historic center, visit its churches and enjoy the regional cuisine.
Night in Salta.
Day 2 | Cafayate, Quebrada de las Conchas and wineries
After breakfast, your private guide will pick you up from the hotel to begin the tour towards Cafayate , crossing the Lerma Valley and its historic towns along National Route 68.
The road will take you to the spectacular Quebrada de las Conchas (Shells Gorge ), one of the great natural attractions of northern Argentina. There you can admire rock formations sculpted over thousands of years by erosion, such as the Garganta del Diablo (Devil`s Throat), the Amphitheater, El Sapo (The Toad), and Los Castillos (The Castles ).
Upon arriving in Cafayate, recognized as one of the main wine-producing regions of Argentina, you will visit two wineries to learn about local production and discover the characteristic wines of the Calchaquí Valleys, especially Torrontés.
After lunch, you`ll begin your return journey to Salta, crossing the Quebrada de las Conchas once again. The changing light during the return trip will allow you to appreciate the colors and shapes of the mountains from a completely different perspective.
Arrival in Salta and free evening.
Day 3 | Purmamarca, Tilcara and Humahuaca
After breakfast, you will begin a two-day excursion to the Quebrada de Humahuaca and Iruya with your private guide.
The first stop will be Purmamarca , one of the most picturesque towns in Jujuy, where you can admire the famous Hill of Seven Colors , explore its main square and visit its craft market.
You will continue towards Tilcara , where you will visit the Pucará and its Archaeological Museum to learn about part of the history and culture of the region`s native peoples.
The journey continues towards Huacalera , crossing the Tropic of Capricorn and enjoying the characteristic landscapes of the Quebrada. Then you will visit the Church of Uquía, famous for housing the paintings of the Arcabuceros Angels .
Finally you will arrive in Humahuaca , where you will see its historic cathedral and the Monument to Independence, popularly known as El Indio .
From there you will continue towards Iruya, passing through mountain landscapes until you cross the Abra del Cóndor , located at approximately 3,900 meters above sea level.
Upon arrival in Iruya you will settle into your 4-star hotel.
Night in Iruya.
Day 4 | Iruya and return to Salta
You will start the day enjoying the tranquility and charm of Iruya , a small mountain village surrounded by stunning landscapes of the Eastern Cordillera.
Then you will begin your return journey to Salta with your private guide.
During the tour you will visit San Salvador de Jujuy , the capital of the province, before continuing your journey to Salta.
Arrival in the afternoon and accommodation in Salta.

Day 5 | Farewell to Salta
After breakfast you will check out of the hotel.
Depending on your flight or bus schedule, you will have free time to enjoy your last few hours in Salta before transferring to the airport or bus terminal.
