We will start the tour from Purmamarca, waiting for you at a designated meeting point. We will begin the adventure ascending National Route 9, enjoying unique Andean landscapes.
We will make a brief stop in Tilcara, where you will have the option to visit the Pucará de Tilcara, an ancient pre-Incan fortress (entrance not included).
We will continue to Humahuaca, where we will explore its historic center, the church and the Independence Monument. In this place we will have free time to have lunch and enjoy the local cuisine.
Once the free time is over, from Humahuaca we will ascend in 4x4 vehicles to the Serranía de Hornocal viewpoint, located 25 km from the city and at an altitude of 4,761 meters above sea level. From there, you will be able to appreciate the impressive multicolored formations, take unique photographs and enjoy the views at these heights.
On the way back, we will visit Uquía, known for its San Francisco de Paula Church, which houses paintings of the Archabuceros Angels.
We will pass by Huacalera, where we will cross the Tropic of Capricorn, marked by a monolith.
Finally, we will observe the Paleta del Pintor Hill in Maimará, with its impressive multicolored formations as well. We will conclude the tour by returning to the starting point in Purmamarca.
