We will pick you up from your accommodation in Purmamarca and take you to the Iruya Valley. Our expert and professional guides will share the history and culture of this place with you.
Located between the desert and the jungle, this transitional zone will take you through the 4,000 meters above sea level and into the High Valleys. Here, we will show you how the ancient inhabitants achieved food self-sufficiency by building terraced crops on the mountainsides, utilizing spring water that emerges from the hilltops. These traditions are still alive today and amaze us with their history.
Passing through these mythical mountain ranges, you will reach the charming town of Iruya, where we will also explore its interior.
Around 6:00 PM, you will be returning to your accommodation in Purmamarca.
