The adventure begins around 9:00 am , when we will pick you up from your hotel to depart in comfortable Land Rover 4x4 trucks towards the southeastern end of the Golfo Nuevo.
After traveling approximately 80 kilometers , we will arrive at the emblematic Punta Ninfas Lighthouse , one of the most iconic places on the Patagonian coast and a reference point for sailors entering the gulf.
We will continue the tour to an impressive section of cliffs from where we will obtain spectacular panoramic views of the ocean, virgin beaches and reefs shaped by the wind and the sea.
Here begins the most adventurous part of the excursion: we will descend to the beach using ropes installed on the cliff, always accompanied and assisted by the guide. The hike requires a medium-to-high level of physical fitness, but the reward is well worth the effort.
Between September and Easter , this beach receives a large colony of southern elephant seals , which we can observe very closely, always respecting the necessary distances so as not to alter their natural behavior.
Outside of that season, the excursion continues to be carried out normally, allowing you to enjoy one of the most spectacular coastal landscapes of Puerto Madryn, the adventure of the descent down the cliff and the possibility of spotting marine fauna such as the Southern Right Whale and, occasionally, orcas , depending on the time of year.
During the day we will take a break to enjoy a packed lunch that includes a sandwich, fruit, a drink and a hot infusion while we contemplate the immensity of the Patagonian landscape.
Around 3:00 PM we will begin our return to Puerto Madryn.
