In the picturesque town of Tupungato, in the Province of Mendoza, lies "El Pico Palma", an estancia that, with its privileged location at 2,000 meters above sea level, offers a unique experience in the heart of the Andes Mountains. This exclusive corner, known as "La Carrera" Valley, functions today as a refuge of serenity surrounded by the imposing mountains of the Cordón del Plata and the Precordillera.
Once we arrive at the estancia, around 11 am, you will enjoy exclusive two-hour horseback rides on first-class criollo horses, equipped with traditional saddles and tack. This activity allows you to explore the vast grounds of the estancia in total privacy, offering views and landscapes that seem straight out of a dream. There is also the option of taking a walk instead of riding horses. Condors, foxes, hares and an incredible variety of birds will keep you company during the ride.
Upon returning from horseback riding, we will be waiting for you with an exquisite tasting of homemade empanadas accompanied by high-altitude wines. Lunch continues with a tasty criollo barbecue, consisting of select meats, fresh salads, vegetables baked in a clay oven, and a platter of regional desserts.
After lunch, the serene atmosphere invites relaxation: you can enjoy contemplative walks or simply relax while marveling at the majesty of the mountains. The afternoon is rounded off with a tea and coffee service accompanied by homemade pastries, guaranteeing a perfect end to an unforgettable day.
