Experience The Ultimate 9-Day Andes Horseback Adventure | Book Your Mendoza Expedition Now

This adventure is very special since we will have the opportunity to go through one of the most amazing achievements in the history of humanity. We are going to cross the Andes Mountains through exactly the same place where San Martín and O`Higgins passed in 1817.

On this journey of 7 days and 6 nights we will cross through impressive landscapes flanked by the highest mountains in America, Aconcagua and the Mercedario. On our way we will be able to see enormous herds of guanacos and also condors. When the sun goes down, we will be able to see an impressive number of stars illuminating the sky of the southern hemisphere. The tranquility, the bonfire, the guitars and the rounds of mate in the camp, create the ideal atmosphere to decant what has been experienced each day.

It is an ideal excursion for lovers of nature and horseback riding, who want to live the experience of making the crossing just as the Army of the Andes experienced it.

What To Bring?
• Sleeping bag suitable between -5º and -10º.
• Hat with chinstrap (these are the straps to tie the hat to the neck and prevent it from blowing away in the wind).
• Rain coat. Unlike a waterproof jacket, these are spacious, they not only protect us, they also cover the saddlebags and the saddle.
• Two changes of clothes. We recommend field pants or loose pants. It is better to travel with shirts and not with round neck t-shirts, the former protect us more from the sun. It is advisable to carry several thin coats instead of just one very thick one. Fleece coats are very suitable, ideal for any season.
• A warm t-shirt, leggings or long underwear.
• Warm jacket and/or poncho.
• Wool cap.
• Neckerchief, scarf and gardening gloves.
• Swimsuit and shorts.
• Sneakers and espadrilles. Very wide shoes, such as boots, are not suitable for riding, they can get caught in the stirrup. Those who are used to it can wear riding boots. Shoes must be waterproof.
