The province of Mendoza is the Argentina`s most important wine region, rendering more 75% of the country`s total production. Natural conditions such as altitude (from 500 to 1,700 meters above sea level), aridity and stony soils, and a marked thermal amplitude between day and night, are the ideal setting for growing vines.
In the morning, a private vehicle will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the two wineries, located at region of Luján de Cuyo and Maipú, 20 km from the city. On the way, your experienced guide will explain the origin of the wine industry in Mendoza. In addition, we will also have an explanation in the vineyards to learn about the cultivation of the vine and all the different jobs that are carried out there.
During the tour we will see Malbec and other grape vines, all the machines they use for wine making and the tanks as well. In addition, in this short tour we will learn what happens from the vineyards to the bottled wine, as well as the steps to taste a good wine.
After about 5 hours, we will return to your hotel.
