Yes, to visit the Brazilian side of Iguazu Falls, tourists must present a valid passport when crossing the border between Argentina and Brazil. The best time to visit Iguazu Falls on the Brazilian side depends on your personal preferences. During the summer months (December to February), the weather is hot and humid, and the waterfalls` water flow is greater due to rainfall, offering spectacular views. However, this is also peak season, with more tourists. Between March and May, or September and November, temperatures are more pleasant and there are fewer crowds, which can offer a more peaceful and comfortable experience. Consider your preferences when planning.
The average length of an Iguazu Falls tour on the Brazilian side is approximately half a day, which generally results in about 4 to 6 hours, depending on how much time you prefer to spend at the various viewpoints and optional activities. The tour includes both transportation to and from your hotel and time spent exploring and admiring the spectacular views of the falls. The visit is designed to offer a complete experience, allowing you to capture the natural beauty and enjoy the biodiversity of the region at a comfortable pace.
For the excursion to Iguazu Falls on the Brazilian side, it is recommended to wear light and comfortable clothing suitable for the hot and humid climate. Comfortable, non-slip footwear is essential for walking the nature trails. It is also advisable to pack a cap or sun hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen to protect yourself from the sun`s harsh rays. Don`t forget a raincoat or poncho, as the proximity to the falls can be splattered with spray. A water bottle to stay hydrated and a camera to capture panoramic views are ideal accessories.
