Planned itinerary:
Day 1 - Arrival in Buenos Aires
According to your flight itinerary, a driver will be waiting for you at the landing area with a sign in your name, to transfer you quickly and safely to your hotel in downtown Buenos Aires. Check-in and rest of the day free.
Day 2 - Walking Tour and Tango Show
The day begins with a walk through the city. Around 10 am we leave our offices to get to know the most beautiful and interesting places. The tour is made walking and traveling by public transport, to visit thoroughly the Center, San Telmo, La Boca and Recoleta where our tour ends. This tour is ideal for taking pictures and visiting areas outside the massive tourist circuit. The tour ends around 4:30 pm.
In the evening, between 8pm and 8.30pm we will pick you up at your hotels to enjoy a beautiful dinner accompanied by an unforgettable Tango show. The event will take place in El Querandí, one of the most popular tanguerias in San Telmo neighborhood. You will be welcomed with a three-step gourmet dinner with a wide selection of typical dishes and regional wines. Afterwards, you will be able to witness an incredible show, which reviews the History of Tango with different dancing couples and singers. At the end, around midnight, you will be returned to your hotel.
Day 3 - Sailing to the Tigre
The tour starts at the boat terminal in the luxurious neighborhood of Puerto Madero, where you should meet your guide at 9:45 am. From there, you will sail across the Rio de la Plata and the Delta, to enjoy the best views of the city. Once in Tigre, you will go on a touristic bus ride to see the main attractions. We continue with a walking tour around the famous market of the Port of Fruits. Finally, we will return to Buenos Aires by train to Retiro station, where the tour ends.
Day 4 - Arrival to Calafate
According to your flight itinerary, a driver will pick you up at your hotel to take you to the airport to board your flight. Once in El Calafate, you will be transferred to your hotel to check in. Rest of the day off.
Day 5 - Perito Moreno and Boat Ride
Pick up at the hotels at 9 am, to travel along the picturesque Route 11, which borders the main body of Lake Argentino on the way to Los Glaciares National Park.
Once in the park, we will go to the Curva de los Suspiros, where we will get off the vehicle to observe the Perito Moreno Glacier for the first time. Later we will make another stop at the Bajo las Sombras Pier to navigate to the southern wall of the Glacier. We will then continue to the front walkways of the glacier, where we will observe it from several balconies located at different heights, allowing us to appreciate it from different angles, each one more surprising than the last. In the afternoon we will return to El Calafate.
Day 6 - Navigation On The Lake Argentino - Todo Glaciares
From 07 am, we will pick you up at your hotel and then we will travel comfortably to Punta Bandera Port, located 47 km away from Calafate.
Around 09 am, we will board an incredible boat to start the navigation by Lago Argentino North Arm.
We will cross Boca del Diablo with Upsala Channel as destiny and navigate between the huge ice floes of this glacier.
Then we will get into the Spegazzini Channel to see the Dry Glacier for the first time. We will continue until the Spegazzini Glacier Front where we will contemplate Heim Sur and Peineta Glaciers too.
Our disembark point is Spegazzini Base to start the area tour walking through the forest to arrive at Spegazzini Shelter. This 300 meters walkway is accessible and while we walk, we will make some stops in points of view to see Bahía de los Glaciares.
During the walking, we will make stops to visit different stations (Glaciology - History - Fauna and Flora), and we will have access to points of view.
Once we get into the shelter we will enjoy gastronomy, shops and an incredible panoramic view (Deck & Terraza)
Also, we will have the option for people who want to walk because they can do the mountain road. It is a medium-difficulty trekking through a forest walkway with natural points of view full of incredible views that finalize in the disembark point.
Once we get on board again, we will make the second part navigation.
Around 4 pm, we will arrive at Punta Bandera.
Return to Calafate around 5 pm approx.
Day 7 - Arrival to Iguazu and Brazilian Falls
Your transport will take you to the airport to take your flight to Puerto Iguazu. There you will be received and transferred to the hotel to check in. Then, in the afternoon, the tour begins to visit the Falls on the Brazilian side.
The Iguassu National Park (Brazilian side) has an area of 185,000 hectares. The route of the footbridges is 1,200 meters of path on the Iguazú River ravine. You will be able to obtain a panoramic view of the Argentinean waterfalls, which is an ideal place to take pictures. Towards the end of the tour you will arrive at the lower viewpoint of Garganta del Diablo, which is about 200 meters away. This wonderful scenery is even more enhanced by the permanent rainbow formation.
Day 8 - Argentine Falls
Transfer from hotels early in the morning to visit the Argentine side of the park. Once you cross the access gate, continue to the "Central Station" where the option is to take a train service that takes you to the "Cataratas Station" and/or "Garganta del Diablo Station". The other option to access the Cataratas Circuits (Upper and Lower Walkway) is through the "Sendero Verde" Pedestrian Path, 600 meters long, which starts at the Visitors` Center and ends at the Cataratas Station.
Day 9 - Arrival in Rio de Janeiro
According to the option selected, your transport will take you to the airport in Puerto Iguazu or Foz de Iguassu, to take your flight to Rio. Once there, you will be transferred to your hotel, to check in and enjoy the rest of the day off.
Day 10 - Corcovado and Sugar Loaf
We start with the pick up from their hotels to visit the Corcovado Hill and the statue of Christ the Redeemer, located at 710 meters high. From the summit you can see the Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon, the northern area and several beaches. We will be able to make the ascent in the historical train. After contemplating the wonderful panoramic view of the city, we will enjoy a delicious traditional lunch before continuing our tour.
After lunch we will visit the Sugar Loaf Mountain, located at 395 meters above sea level, in the middle of the Guanabara Bay. The ascent is done by cable car to the top of the mountain, from which you have a wonderful 360° view of the Guanabara Bay, Copacabana, Urca, Botafogo, Flamengo and its surroundings.
Day 11 - Guanabara Bay
In this historical and touristic trip, you take a boat that will border the Guanabara Bay, going through points of cultural importance and great beauty.
Our tour will take you to the beaches of Flamengo, Botafogo and Urca, the Pão de Açucar, the Museum of Contemporary Art, the Rio-Niterói Bridge, the Island of Enxadas and the Monument to the Dead from the Second World War, just to mention some of the places to visit.
Day 12 - Day off
You can take this day off or we recommend a tour to Pedra da Gavea or Tijuca Forest.
Day 13 - Arrival in Lima
According to your flight itinerary, a driver will pick you up at your hotel to take you to the airport to board your flight. Once you arrive in Lima, your driver will be waiting to take you to your hotel.
Day 14 - Lima City Tour And Larco Museum
After picking you up from the hotel, we will start the Lima city tour at the wonderful Larco Museum, located in the traditional neighborhood of Pueblo Libre. The museum was founded by the Peruvian archaeologist Rafael Larco Hoyle in 1926, in a beautiful mansion with amazing gardens dating from the eighteen century.
The Larco Museum is really impressive. We will appreciate a complete collection of more than 5000 pieces of pre Columbian art made with gold and silver, as well as ceramics, and erotic art. Chronologically, we will stroll through incredible salons to learn about ancient Peruvian civilizations.
The tour continues in the historic center of Lima. Declared a UNESCO World’s Heritage Site in 1988, this place houses awesome squares, colonial mansions, and a lot of history. We will visit Casa de Aliaga, a colonial house built in 1536, full of invaluable arte and history. Until now, this jewel of the architecture is still inhabited by descendants of Jeronimo de Aliaga y Ramirez family, a Spanish conqueror and ally of Francisco Pizarro.
We will continue towards the Main Square, where the city of Lima was founded in 1535, and where the Independence of Peru were declared officially in 1821. During the time of viceroyalty, this square was used as market, and also, as the place where executions were carried out.
We are going to have the opportunity to admire historical places as the Government Palace, the Archbishop’s Palace, the Municipal Palace, and other important buildings of the colonial time. We will visit the Cathedral of Lima, declared Cultural Heritage Site, built in the sixteenth century by Spanish conquers.
After the visit, you will be transferred back to the hotel.
Day 15 - Arrival in Cusco
According to the chosen transportation, either is train or by air, our driver will pick you up at your hotel to transfer you to the bus terminal or the airport. Once you arrive in Cusco, your transport will be waiting to take you to your hotel. Check in and rest of the day free.
Day 16 - City Tour and Archaeological Park
We will visit the Archaeological Park of Sacsayhuaman, and begin the excursion by visiting the fortress of the same name. We will continue with Qenqo, an ancient temple of the Puma where you can appreciate an altar for sacrifices, and then with Tambomachay, sacred sources of life and health. Finally, we will visit the Plaza de Armas and enter the Cathedral, which treasures invaluable colonial works and paintings, such as the Cross that arrived with the first conquerors.
Day 17 - Machu Picchu by Train Vistadome
Transfer to the train station. Departure of Vistadome train to the town of Aguas Calientes. During the train journey, we will appreciate the hanging bridge that starts the Inca Trail. The track follows the course of the Urubamba or Vilcanota river descending more and more and entering a canyon until arriving at the town of Aguas Calientes, located at the foot of the mountain of Machu Picchu. We will board our mini-buses to ascend to the vestiges of the Sacred Citadel of the Incas "Machu Picchu". We will visit its terraces, passages, temples, the sundial or "Intihuatana", and other sacred places that this citadel guards. In the afternoon, we will descend to the village to take the return train. Arrival at the station and return to the hotel.
Day 18 - Pisac Market and Ollantaytambo Fortress
To say goodbye to Cusco, we will visit the Sacred Valley of the Incas. On the way we will stop at Awanacancha, a complex where we will meet and feed llamas and alpacas. In addition, local people will show us their techniques of weaving and dyeing traditional textiles. We will then arrive at the traditional Pisac Market, where we will have free time to visit it and buy handicrafts. We will have lunch in a local restaurant. In the afternoon, we will continue to Ollantaytambo, a picturesque village continuously inhabited since Inca times, where we will visit the temple of the same name, used as a fortress during the Inca resistance.
Day 19 - Farewell to Cusco
According to the option chosen, you will be transferred to the bus station or the airport, to continue your trip or to return home.
