Day 1: Arrival in Buenos Aires:
After your arrival at Ezeiza International Airport you will be welcomed by a private car and taken to your hotel located in downtown. The rest of the day you will be free to rest at the hotel or to explore the city. Overnight in Buenos Aires.
Day 2: Exploring Buenos Aires: City Tour and Dinner & Tango Show:
After breakfast, discover the main places of interest in Buenos Aires on this 3-hour bus tour. You will visit the main attractions and neighborhoods, including Plaza de Mayo, Casa Rosada, Teatro Colón, Plaza de la República, San Telmo, La Boca, Bosques de Palermo and Recoleta. The tour ends in downtown where you will have lunch at one of the hundreds of high level restaurants located in the city.
At night, you will be picked up at your hotel and taken to one of the most complete Tango shows in the city. Located in the vicinity of San Telmo, El Querandí is one of the most traditional tango venues. Its decoration reminds us of the first bars at the beginning of the 20th century. It has capacity for 120 people and offers an excellent gastronomy with free tap of drinks. The show reviews the history of Tango with different couples of Tango dancers and singers. It is a very intimate show, in which the singers, musicians and dancers pass through the Hall to arrive and leave the stage during the different numbers of the show. Overnight in Buenos Aires.
Day 3: Free day in Buenos Aires:
Free day to enjoy any of the hundreds of activities offered by one of the biggest and most attractive cities in South America. We recommend taking a full day tour to a Gaucho Estancia in the countryside a few kilometers from the city. Overnight in Buenos Aires.
Day 4: Free day in Buenos Aires:
Free day. We recommend taking a tour to the city of Tigre, where you will be able to navigate among the many islands and rivers that make up this place. Night in Buenos Aires.
Day 5: From Buenos Aires to Puerto Iguazú:
Have breakfast at your hotel and be taken in a private car to the Metropolitan Airport for your flight to the city of Puerto Iguazú. Upon landing you will be met and taken to your hotel.
In the afternoon you will take the half-day excursion to the Iguazú Falls, where you will visit the National Park area located on the Brazilian side. The excellent thing about this tour, are the wonderful views of the Iguazu River, the falls and the Devil's Throat. You will have unforgettable panoramic views. Night in Puerto Iguazú.
Day 6: Exploring the Iguazú Falls - Argentine side:
After breakfast, you will be taken to the Iguazu National Park on the Argentine side. Unlike the Brazilian side, this part of the park will take you to experience the jungle and the falls from the inside. You will be taken through different paths and walkways built in the middle of the jungle. The variety of flora and fauna you will see will leave you breathless. Night in Puerto Iguazú.
Day 7: Flight to Los Glaciares. From Iguazu to El Calafate:
Have breakfast at your hotel and be picked up to go to the airport in Bariloche and take your domestic flight to El Calafate. After arrival, you will be welcomed and taken to your hotel where you will have the rest of the day free. El Calafate is a picturesque town on the shores of Lago Argentino, the largest lake in Patagonia, and gateway to Los Glaciares National Park. Night in El Calafate.
Day 8: Visit to the Perito Moreno Glacier:
After breakfast, enjoy an excursion to the Perito Moreno Glacier in Los Glaciares National Park. After breakfast, you will travel the 50 miles (80 kilometers) from El Calafate to the Glacier, which is located in the southwest corner of Lago Argentino. The most famous feature of the National Park, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, is the Perito Moreno Glacier, 19 miles long, 3 miles wide and 197 feet high. With your guide, you will walk along the 1,300-foot (400-meter) trail that takes you to a viewpoint near the glacier. You will spend about two hours here; when you reach the viewpoint (about an hour's walk), the guide will give you free time to take pictures and admire the impressive view of the glacier and the lake.
We recommend to take the navigation on Lago Argentino (optional). The catamaran sails the Brazo Rico, which allows you to appreciate the icebergs that make up the walls of the Perito Moreno Glacier. The navigation lasts one hour and gives the possibility of having an incredible view of the formations and colors of the glacier. Night in El Calafate.
Day 9: Patagonia at your feet - El Calafate:
This day will be free for you to decide which activity you want to do or if you simply want to use your time to rest in your hotel. There are many options to choose from in this city, such as sailing among the glaciers or visiting a Patagonian estancia to learn about the practices and work done in this end of the world. Day 10: Return to Buenos Aires:
Enjoy breakfast and then be transported to El Calafate airport for your flight to Buenos Aires. Once in the city you will be taken to Ezeiza International Airport for your return to your destination.
