Details of Day Tours


09:30 am: We will meet at the Monument of the Liberator José de San Martín (Plaza San Martín) to start the full-day excursion through the gaucho area of Argentina. 

10:00 am: From the Retiro Bus Terminal, p we will leave for San Antonio de Areco by bus and enjoy a pleasant 2-hour journey to the north of the province where we will cross farms and part of the pampas.

12:00 pm: We will arrive at the town and head towards Estancia El Ombú where we will welcome with a reception of typical Argentine empanadas with the staff of the Estancia. In addition, the local gauchos will perform a demonstration of their ranching skills. They will carry out a rodeo in action, a ring race and impressive herding skills.After seeing the skills of the gauchos we will explore the ranch grounds on horseback. 

13:00 pm: At the same time as lunch, we will enjoy the gaucho party with the beautiful music and dance show We will have  a typical gaucho lunch asado, chicken,  ribs and much more. 

14:30 pm: After having lunch we will begin with the multiple activities that Estancia el Ombú has. In the serene pampas we can horseback riding, sulky rides. To live a more country experience we will go on walks around the ranch. We will also have a beautiful and large swimming pool, ping pong tables, soccer, volleyball and bicycle tours.  

17:00 pm We will leave the ranch towards the town and take a tour of it where we will visit the Plaza Ruiz de Arellano de Areco, which receives its name from the rancher who founded the town in 1728 and we will learn about the immense history it has.

18:30 pm: we will begin with the transfer to the San Antonio de Areco bus terminal and we will depart for Buenos Aires in bus

21:00 pm: After arriving at the Retiro terminal, we will end the tour in Plaza San Martín.
