Details La Cinacina

Location: BUENOS AIRES (AR)
Type: Ranches
SubType: Ranches
City: SAN ANTONIO DE ARECO
The estancia is located in San Antonio de Areco, birthplace of the gaucho tradition. A magnificent colonial homestead, built in 1880, awaits to offer you an unforgettable stay. Centennial oak trees, araucarias, palm trees, eucalyptus, casuarinas and magnolias embellish the 4 hectares park, inviting you to a leisurely walk. You can also go for a ride on horseback or in cart over the 300 hectares dedicated to cattle breeding.

The abundant creole barbecues ( asados ), together with the excellent home-made food, relieve the appetite caused by the healthy walks along the shores of the Areco River. Another alternative is to watch and participate in the different rural activities of the estancia: milking, herding, vaccination, brandings, slaughters, etc.

The historical and picturesque town of San Antonio de Areco is located 20 km from the estancia; with its museums -the most well-known is the Ricardo Güiraldes Gaucho Museum- its silversmith and artisan workshops, it keeps the traditions of gaucho culture alive, and it definitely deserves a stop in the road.
