Your adventure begins at the Cuyabeno Bridge at 11:00 am, where you`ll receive an informational briefing before venturing into the jungle. Enjoy an approximately 2-hour boat trip along the river, surrounded by lush vegetation and with great opportunities to spot Amazonian wildlife, including various species of monkeys, birds, and reptiles.
Upon arrival at the lodge, you will enjoy a typical lunch, followed by time to rest and settle in.
In the afternoon, visit the impressive Laguna Grande, where you can swim and relax while watching one of the most spectacular sunsets in the Amazon.
As night falls, experience an exciting excursion in search of caimans and boas along the river. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.
Day 2 – Primary Rainforest Wildlife Exploration
After breakfast, embark on an approximately 3-hour guided hike through primary rainforest with a bilingual native guide. Discover medicinal plants and learn about the incredible biodiversity of the Amazonian ecosystem.
After lunch, you will have free time to relax or enjoy the natural surroundings (with the possibility of spotting pink dolphins in season).
In the afternoon, take a canoe trip to observe a wide variety of wildlife, including sloths, monkeys, parrots, hoatzins, and caimans.
As night falls, experience a night hike in the jungle, where you can discover species that only emerge in the dark. Dinner and rest.
Day 3 – Bird Watching Return
Start the day early with a sunrise outing (5:30 am), the best time for birdwatching in their natural habitat.
After breakfast, begin the return journey by sailing down the river, with one last opportunity to observe the Amazonian wildlife.
Upon arrival at the Cuyabeno Bridge, you will receive assistance to board your transport to Quito or other destinations.
