Today we will embark
on a magical day exploring the cultural and natural wealth of southern Chile
with our full-day adventure to the stunning Lago Ranco. We will begin with a punctual pickup at the hotel in
Valdivia, ready to start this exciting journey south.
Our first
stop will be in the picturesque town of Río
Well, on the shores of the majestic Lago Ranco. Here, we will explore the
historic Spanish fort "San José de
Alcudía", a National Monument administered by the University
Southern Chile. We will discover the fascinating history of this site and its
importance in the colonial era.
Next,
We will visit the "Arturo Moler" Museum
Sandrock", where we can admire a valuable collection that highlights
the rich Mapuche culture. We will learn about their traditions, art and way of life
life through exhibitions that will connect us deeply with this town
original.
We will continue our
adventure touring the impressive south bank
of Lake Ranco. The landscapes here are of indescribable beauty, with
more than 11 islands adorning the lake,
including the enigmatic Huapi Island, home to a
Huillichecommunity. We will take advantage of this moment to capture photos
spectacular views and enjoy the serenity of the surroundings.
Finally,
We will visit the imposing Nilahue Falls.
We will be amazed by the strength and beauty
