We will begin our visit leaving from the selected hotels in Puerto Varas, to go to Puerto Montt. This city is called "The regional capital of Los Lagos" because it is where the largest fishing and business activity in the area is concentrated.
Through this city tour we can know the attractions that enhance beauty from Puerto Montt, telling us more about its history and culture. We will visit the city center, its imposing cathedral built with native woods, and the seafood market. The latter is a colorful place that will show us the daily work of fishermen, and see how the typical crafts of the town of Angelmó are made. Optionally, we can taste the typical dishes based on fish and seafood at the food stalls of the market.
After lunch, we will continue our journey to the top of Melipulli where we can get a beautiful panoramic view. From here we can see the port, the Reloncaví bay and the island of Tenglo, which stands out for its abundant vegetation and the sanctuary located on the top of the island, whose huge cross makes it easily identifiable. After enjoying these views, we will be returning to our hotels in Puerto Varas.
