We will begin our adventure departing from La Serena towards the magical Elqui Valley. During the journey, we will make a stop at the Puclaro Reservoir, where we will see the dam (depending on the day and season) and enjoy privileged views of the surroundings.
We will continue the tour with a stop at a point of sale for typical Chilean papaya products, the emblematic fruit of the region. Then we will arrive in Vicuña, where we will visit its main square and have time to explore the local crafts.
The journey continues towards the foothills of the Andes, passing through charming towns like Paihuano, with a stop at one of its viewpoints to appreciate the unique beauty of the valley. We will pass through Montegrande, where Gabriela Mistral lived, with an optional visit to its museum (subject to availability and conditions of the day).
Finally, we will arrive at Pisco Elqui, where we will explore its main square and local shops. To conclude the experience, we will visit a traditional pisco distillery, learn about the Chilean pisco production process, and enjoy a tasting. After lunch at a local restaurant, we will begin our return to La Serena.
