We will start our adventure to this iconic park leaving from your hotel in Coyhaique between 06:30 and 07:00 in the morning to start the trip by the < b>Carretera Austral Norte towards the Queulat National Park, about 211 km away.
During the way we can enjoy the first attractions, beautiful and unique landscapes of mountains and rivers, such as the Mirador Marchant and the La Virgen Waterfall, we will have stops with time to enjoy and take pictures.
Then we will continue the route admiring these unique places, we will have time to photograph and enjoy places like Lago Las Torres and Piedra el Gato, until Arrive at Queulat National Park around noon.
Inside the park there are several trails that offer spectacular views of the humid forest and the surrounding mountains.
We will begin with a gentle walk of approximately 600 meters through native forests, surrounded by abundant Patagonian nature, to the shore of Laguna Témpano , as we get closer to the hanging glacier we will begin to feel the majesty and freshness of the ice.
The The park`s most impressive attraction is The Queulat Hanging Glacier, a large glacial mass that, despite its easy access, few explorers have entered its ice, and there are numerous summits without ascent in its surroundings .
In the park, we will enjoy our Box lunch and something hot , while we appreciate the panoramic view of the place with the Queulat Hanging Glacier in the background.
After enjoying the meal, we will return along the same path through the humid forests and mountains to head along the road until we reach the Puyuhuapi Village, where we will have time to visit, and then return back to your hotel in Coyhaique.
