Today we will begin

most important of the archipelago.

secondary roads we will be able to understand why the FAO has recognized Chiloé
as an Ingenious World Agricultural Heritage Site (GIAHS), work of
many generations of farmers who developed ingenious practices to
the use and conservation of natural resources. An example is the cultivation of
more than 200 varieties of native potatoes.
In Dalcahue
We will visit your town in addition to its typical fair
artisanal and its Church,
which was declared a World Heritage Site in 2000.
Then we will cross to
the Quinchao Island through a
spacecraft. We will pass through Huyar and Curaco
of Vélez, where we can learn more about its history, its towns
rural, architecture, religiosity and folklore.

trip visiting Achao, a town
surrounded by hills and built in front of a shallow beach. This town is
very visited by the inhabitants of the smaller islands since it is the main
town outside the Big Island.
