We will leave at 8 AM from our selected hotels in Atacama to first visit the Pukara of Quitor. This pukara was built in the 12th century, and was an important defensive fortress of the Atacama culture.
After that, we will go out to the Ayllus, which are a social system of subsistence and community work. Passing the most distant Ayllus we will arrive at the Archaeological village of Tulor, which was built approximately 3000 years ago and was able to be preserved because it was buried by the sand.
Here we can get a more precise view of how life was in the Ayllus, while we see their circular rooms connected to each other and with a common patio.
After exploring Tulor, we will be returning at approximately 12 PM to our selected hotels in Atacama.
