Details of Day Tours
We will leave at 8 AM from our selected hotels in Atacama to visit the Pukara de Quitor first. This pukara was built in the 12th century, and was an important defensive fortress of the Atacamean culture.
We will go out to the Ayllus, which are a social system of subsistence and community work. Passing the farthest ayllus we will reach the Archaeological village of Tulor, which was built approximately 3000 years ago and could be preserved because it was buried by sand.
Here we can get a more accurate view of what life was like in the Ayllus, while we see its circular rooms connected to each other and with a common patio.
After exploring Tulor, we will be returning at approximately 12 PM to our selected hotels.
