Through this activity, we will go to the Rainbow Valley until we reach the town of Rio Grande, to do a trekking choosing one of the two available roads between 12 and 16 kilometers. 

It will be an incredible experience, walking through this beautiful place, witnessing how the landscape changes with every step and enjoying delicious food with the best company.

Details of Day Tours

We will begin our day by heading to the corners of the Domeyko mountain range, which marks the eastern limit of the Atacama Desert, to see the beautiful Rainbow Valley, home to attractive millenary formations of intense colors, product of erosion and the presence of different types of minerals. 

After our delicious breakfast we will go to the town of Rio Grande, characterized by its picturesque houses built of stone, mud and straw, where our trek will begin, being able to choose between two routes of between 12 or 16 km, to cover its incredible and changing landscapes.

We will travel through abandoned villages of the highlands to reach Machuca, a small town with no more than 20 houses, where the team will be waiting for us with a cocktail to celebrate this beautiful and unforgettable day.

At the end, we will return to the passengers`s hotels.
