Our tour begins with the departure from the passenger hotels to travel by jeep through the traditional neighborhood of Santa Teresa, where we will find mansions built in the early twentieth century by the English who settled in the area because the climate is similar to England. Today it is a refuge for artists and intellectuals. The other option is to start by visiting the Botanical Garden.
Then we will continue traveling until we reach the Tijuca Forest National Park, the largest urban forest in the world, where the monument to Christ the Redeemer is located at the top of Corcovado Mountain, at an altitude of 710 meters above sea level. At that moment we will change vehicles to get into a van that will transport us to the top, and then return to the jeep.
Then we will continue with the visit to Doña Marta`s viewpoint, to admire the magnificent view, as well as take a short walk to a waterfall.
We will end up returning to the passenger hotels after an unforgettable day.
