The journey begins with passenger pick-up from their accommodations in Manaus at 9:00 AM for transfer to the port, where we will board the boat that travels this historic river route. Departures to Belém are on Wednesdays and Fridays at 11:00 AM.
One of the most impressive moments of the journey occurs at the beginning of the trip, when you can observe the famous Meeting of the Waters , where the dark waters of the Rio Negro meet the clear waters of the Rio Solimões to form the mighty Amazon River.
During approximately five days of navigation , travelers will have the opportunity to experience life on board while traveling along one of the world`s largest rivers. Meals are served on board the ship, though they are paid for separately. Travelers are advised to bring some extra snacks, such as crackers, bread, or fruit, as the ship`s menu can become repetitive during the voyage.
