Tour of the Amazon Museum (MUSA) and INPA – Nature and Science in Manaus

Discover the natural and scientific wealth of the Amazon on this guided tour of two of Manaus` most important research and conservation centers: the Amazon Museum (MUSA) and the National Institute of Amazonian Research (INPA).

The tour begins with pick-up from passengers` hotels in Manaus and transfer to the Amazon Museum (MUSA) , a reserve of approximately 250 acres of Amazon rainforest located near the city center. Accompanied by a specialized guide, we will explore interpretive trails where it will be possible to observe the typical flora and fauna of the region, including frogs, orchids, and various bird species.

During the visit we will also climb the 50-meter observation tower, from where you can enjoy an impressive panoramic view of the Amazon rainforest.

Next, we`ll continue to the National Institute for Amazonian Research (INPA) , one of the world`s leading research centers dedicated to the study of tropical biology and the Amazonian ecosystem. During the guided tour, we`ll explore its various research areas and learn more about the scientific projects that contribute to environmental conservation and the sustainable development of the region.

At the end of the experience, we will transfer passengers back to their hotels in Manaus.
