Leaving your central hotel, we will take national route No. 3 towards the Tierra del Fuego National Park.
We will visit Ensenada Bay, from where we will havepanoramic views of the Beagle Channel and its islands. Then, we will embark to sail towards Redonda Island. After 15-20 minutes of navigation, we will arrive at this island, from where we will have views of the Beagle Channel and the National Park. We can walk along trails of medium or low difficulty. We will breathe the pure air of the Fuegian forest while we arrive at a viewpoint to take panoramic photographs.
After the visit, we will return to the boat to return to Bahía Ensenada and continue our tour of the National Park.
Surrounded by lenga forests and peat bogs, we will arrive at Acigami Lake (formerly Lago Roca), a lake of glacial origin of 5.50 square kilometers, surrounded by mountains and forests, where it is possible to see native birds.
A few minutes from Lake Acigami, we will stop at the Alakush Visitor Center, where we will have about 20 minutes free. The center has a cafeteria, restaurant, bathrooms, souvenir shop and a small museum.
The last leg of the excursion takes us to Lapataia Bay, crossing the archipelago of cormorants and peat bogs. In Lapataia Bay, in addition to the marine coast rich in mollusks and mussels, we will find vestiges of the ancient aboriginal town. We will have time to walk the walkway and take photographs.
From this place, end of National Route No. 3, we will return to Ushuaia .
