Between 8 and 8.30 am we start with the pick up at the hotels, and then leave Ushuaia towards the east along National Route Nº3. Once on the Lasifashaj River, passengers will be able to choose between two activities: row in inflatable canoes along the river and the Beagle Channel, or go directly to the Estancia Harberton and visit the Marine Mammal Museum and the surroundings of one of the first settlements in Tierra del Fuego.
Meanwhile, the group who chose to paddle will prepare themselves with the rubber boots, trouser covers and life jackets that we will give them to begin a canoe adventure that takes them downriver towards the sea. Once in the Beagle Channel, we headed the canoes towards the ranch. Throughout the itinerary at sea we will be able to encounter its wildlife: many different sea birds . It is not even unusual to encounter sea lions sunning themselves on the tiny islands that mark the way to Harberton Harbour.
After paddling canoes or visiting the Harberton museum; The two groups meet at the ranch dock and we all continue together in a motor boat towards Martillo Island, where we can see penguins in their breeding site. . The navigation continues on the motor boat that takes us to see the main attraction of the day: the enormous Gable Island, where lunch awaits us with a good Patagonian wine and mineral water.
After a coffee, the walk runs through this wonderful island, along beaver dams, the sea coast and through the forest to reach the boat that It takes us back to Harberton to take the bus that will take us back to Ushuaia.
