On the day, our guide Martín met me at the airport with a clear sign and a surprisingly detailed plan. He explained how the Quebrada del Toro differs geologically from the Calchaquí Valley, and pointed out a tiny pre-Hispanic irrigation channel near Cachi that I would have missed alone. Cafayate’s roadside empanadas and the vineyard stop made the long day fly by. I enjoyed every minute between business meetings.

Crossing From The Yungas To The Puna

Absolutely loved this tour! Crossing from the lush Yungas into the high, dramatic landscapes of the Puna was mind-blowing. Our guide made the journey extra special, always ready with cool facts and a great sense of humor.
