Our tour begins in the morning, picking you up from your centrally located hotel in Salta between 6:30 and 7:15 am.
Leaving the city on National Route 9, we will take National Route 34, which will take us to the municipality of GeneralGüemes. Then, we will move on to the province of Jujuy, where we will cross a part of the Humahuaca Ravine and see the towns of Yala, Volcán and Purmamarca. In this charming town, you will marvel at the imposing Cerro de los Siete Colores. Next, we will be amazed by the Cuesta de Lipán, where the altitude reaches 4170 meters above sea level. Finally, we will arrive at the Salinas Grandes. This site will surprise you with its expanse of white and shining salt. Here, you will have the opportunity to walk on the surface and contemplate the extensive wells that form after salt extraction. You`ll even be able to admire the talent of the local artisans who create beautiful sculptures with this same material.
After a delicious meal in Purmamarca, we`ll begin our return trip to the city of Salta, taking with you unforgettable memories of this unique adventure in the Salinas Grandes. We`ll arrive at our destination between 7:00 and 7:30 PM.
